Joe DeRingClubhouse ManagerHometown: East Haddam, Connecticut Favorite Sports Team: New York Mets Favorite Sports Movie: Miracle Bio: In 2000, Joe graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a commission into the U.S. Army. Joe served eight years as an Infantry officer and in 2003-2004 led units in Iraq. Joe has recently returned from Afghanistan where he spent a year training Afghan soldiers and police how to conduct counterinsurgency operations. Joe is now pursuing a career in sports and says he is fortunate to have this opportunity with the Bluefish. |
