Host families are asked to take a player in for a season to give them a much needed place of rest while not on the road. The player’s needs include their own bedroom and access to a bathroom, kitchen, and washer/dryer.
Hosting a player for a season has many benefits to a family. It is a valuable way to provide a player with a home while keeping them involved in the community they now live in. For taking part in this the Bluefish offer their host families the opportunity to attend every home game of the 2013 season.
“Becoming a host family is a great way for fans to connect with the Bluefish,” said General Manager Ken Shepard. “It also allows the members of the team to truly respect the city they play for with a place to call home for a season.”
