Kia Motors Named Sponsor of 2015 Atlantic League All-Star Game in Bridgeport

2015 Atlantic League All-Star Game will be held at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard on July 8, driven by Kia Motors
 
(Bridgeport, Conn. – May 19, 2015) – The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that Kia Motors will be the official sponsor of the 2015 Atlantic League All-Star Game, which will take place on Wednesday, July 8th at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. This will be the third time that Bridgeport will host the event, with the previous mid-summer Classics being held in 1999 and 2006.

“We are excited to welcome Kia aboard as the sponsor of the Atlantic League All-Star Game,” said Bluefish CEO/Owner Frank Boulton. “We’re looking forward to delivering a memorable experience to our sponsors, the fans and the community on July 8
th.”

The All-Star festivities will begin on Tuesday, July 7
th, with the All-Star Block Party in Downtown Bridgeport. On Wednesday, July 8th, there will be an All-Star Luncheon held at Housatonic Community College, followed by the Home Run Derby before the All-Star Game commences. After the game, the Bluefish will host the exclusive “Boathouse Bash” after-party for the All-Star VIPs, located at 305 Knowlton in Bridgeport, just minutes away from the Ballpark. The All-Star celebration will conclude on Thursday, July 9th with the “Heroes for Heroes Legends Game”, where former Red Sox will take on Former Yankees in a charity exhibition to benefit the local Homes for the Brave Foundation.
