FeBREWary, Hot Stove Banquet, and Leadoff Luncheon events scheduled
(Bridgeport, Conn – December 18, 2015) – The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced their preseason event schedule, with events being held in February, March, and April.
“We’re excited to announce these special events and build up the excitement leading up to the 2016 season,” says Bluefish General Manager Jamie Toole. “Each one of these events will give our fans a unique look into the Bluefish organization in a fun way.”
On Tuesday, February 16th, the Bluefish will host the third annual FeBREWary with the BREWfish. This event will be held at Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Guests will have the chance to check out all the unique brews Two Roads has to offer. There will also be a special live performance by local musician Bobby Wheeler. Tickets for this event cost $35, which includes admission to the event, as well as food and two beverage vouchers. In addition, Two Roads brewery tours will also be available. The Bluefish will be hosting a Hot Stove Banquet at Fairfield Theatre Company – StageOne in Fairfield on Monday, March 21st from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The event will feature a special keynote speaker, who will be announced at a later date. The keynote speaker along with a guest panel will take part in an interactive and candid panel discussion. To kick off the 2016 season, the Bluefish will host a Leadoff Luncheon on Thursday, April 14th, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at Housatonic Community College. The event will support local nonprofit organization the Hall Neighborhood House and celebrate the start of the 2016 baseball season, which begins Thursday, April 21st on the road against the Sugar Land Skeeters. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the 2016 Bluefish, as all team members will be in attendance at the event. All players and coaches will be available to speak with fans and answer questions. There will also be special items raffled off at the event, including Bluefish experiences, suite nights, and autographed memorabilia. Individual tickets for the Leadoff Luncheon cost $45, and a table of ten costs $400.
