Bluefish to Hold National Anthem Auditions April 16

National Anthem auditions for 2016 season will be held at Connecticut Post Mall in Milford

(Bridgeport, Conn. – March 2, 2016) – The Bridgeport Bluefish will be holding their annual National Anthem auditions prior to the start of the 2016 season. The audition will be held at the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford on Saturday, April 16^th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Those interested in performing the National Anthem at a Bluefish game during the 2016 season may download an audition registration form by clicking HERE.

During the audition, contestants will have the opportunity to sing the National Anthem once in front of a panel of judges. Performances will be held with a strict two-minute time limit. Soloists, groups, and instrumentalists are all invited to audition. Some of the areas of focus for the judges will be lyrical accuracy, voice quality, presentation, voice projection, time, and overall performance and talent.

New this year, the Bluefish are also accepting video submissions. Those interested may submit footage of themselves along with their name, phone number, email address, and age to [email protected] to be considered. In your video submission, you may sing the National Anthem, God Bless America, or any song of your choosing. To be considered, you must also include a Bridgeport Bluefish logo somewhere in your video.
