Second annual ‘Fish Fest will take place at Harbor Yard on August 13th
(Bridgeport, Conn. – July 11, 2016) – The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that they will host the second annual ‘Fish Fest at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard on Saturday, August 13th. The event will feature live music, ballpark fare food and beverages from G2 Sport, and other unique attractions.
“We had a great crowd for ‘Fish Fest 2015, so we are bringing it back in 2016,” says Bluefish General Manager Jamie Toole. “Everybody knows you can never have too many live music events during the summer months, so we encourage all of our fans to enjoy some local bands at the ballpark.”
‘Fish Fest will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with The Ballpark at Harbor Yard gates opening at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13th. Admission to ‘Fish Fest costs $5, and general admission tickets can be purchased in advance by CLICKING HERE, calling 203-210-BLUE, or visiting the Bluefish Box Office at Harbor Yard.
This year’s festival will feature performances from a total of six live acts, which will be announced in the weeks to come. Each act will perform for one hour in either the Two Roads Beer Garden or the Boar’s Head Picnic area. ‘Fish Fest will also feature a Beer Olympics competition on the field, which will begin at 2:00 p.m. For more information, or to register a team for Beer Olympics, email [email protected].
